DIY Nerdy Valentine Treats

DIY Valentine Treats

Now that the craft room is all organized I'm ready to work on some Valentine's Day projects. This little box makes the perfect Valentine's treat.  The box measures 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 3/4" and is just the right size to hold two boxes of nerds.

Instructions: (added 2/14/10)

  • Cut card stock to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". (You will be able to make 4 boxes from one 8.5 x 11" piece of card stock)
  • Score the long way 3/4" in on both sides then score the short way at 3/4", 2 1/2", 3 1/4" and 5".
  • Using the template for reference, cut in from the edge to the first score where indicated. Cut and remove the areas that are shaded in gray.
  • Cut and attach designer paper.
  • TOP: 1 5/8" x 2 5/8"
  • SIDES: (2) 5/8" x 1 5/8 and (2) 5/8" x 2 5/8"
  • Fold and glue decorated card stock to create box.
  • Fill with 2 boxes of Nerds and embellish as desired.

Supplies:

  • Paper: Pink Passion and Whisper White card stock, Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper
  • Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Ink: Pink Passion
  • Accessories: Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Modern Lable Punch
