Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my mom's birthday and I made this card for her. Of course the last minute thinker that I am, I haven't mailed it yet. But if you're reading this Mom, I am thinking of you and I just want your birthday joy to go on into next week!  And if you know my mom, you'll realize how much the fact that I haven't mailed this card yet makes the sentiment even more true!

DIY Textured Cardstock

Do you see the texture on the card stock used for the flowers? To create this texture:

  1. Spray a piece of cardstock with water
  2. Scrunched the paper up as tight as you can
  3. Flatten the paper back out (I actually used an iron set on low).
  4. When it is totally dry punch out the flowers.
