Jolly Holiday Gift Card Holders

Only 16 days til Christmas! We're getting down to the wire. If you're like me you'll  be giving at least one person on your Christmas list a gift card. That's why today's project is a gift card holder. I've been selling a lot of these in my Etsy shop this week. This style seems to be especially popular.

Instructions:
  • Cut a piece of card stock to 3 1/2" x 8 1/2" (you can make 3 gift card holders from 1 piece of 8 1/2 x 11" CS)
  • Score CS @ 2 1/2" on one end and 2" on other end.
  • Use Rounded Corner Punch to round corners on the 2" end
  • Cut 3 pieces of Designer Paper
    • 3 1/4 " x 1 3/4"
    • 3 1/4" x 2 1/4"
    • 3 1/4" x 3 3/4"
  • Use Rounded Corner Punch to round corners on one side of 1 3/4" piece of Designer Paper.
  • Run adhesive along side edges only of 2 1/4" side of card stock and fold up to form gift card pocket
  • Attach designer paper to outside of gift card holder
  • Attach a small piece of velcro to 2" side and fold down.
  • Punch out 1 3/4" card stock Scallop, 1 3/8" card stock circle
  • Stamp greeting or image on Very Vanilla CS and punch out with 1 1/4" circle punch. (I used a images from the "Every Little Bit" stamp set
  • Layer circles and scallop and attach to front of card holder.

  8. I love this! I just made a few for an aution item of assorted cards collection I am donating to my daughters special needs school for their annual Gala. What adhesive did you use for the sides? Did you use the Stampin' Up sticky strip? Also, is the Velcro from the craft store or is it Stampin' Up?

    1. Thank you! An assortment of cards is a great idea for an auction item! Yes, I did use sticky strip for the adhesive on the sides and the velcro is from a craft store.
