Orlando Regional Seminar

Wow, What a great time I had on Saturday! Jody, Lisa and I attended the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar in Orlando. It was amazing! Since it was our first event, we really didn't know what to expect.

We got there a little early and it seemed like everyone was swapping.  We hadn't made any swaps, but next time we definitely will.  There appeared to be a whole lot of excitement involved with swapping and I have to admit there were quite a few cards that I really wanted.  Sadly, no one was interested in swapping for my M&M's.

Once they opened up the conference room we quickly found a table and began to scout out the room.  And who did you think Lisa spotted right off the bat?  Shelly Gardner, the founder of Stampin' Up!. I had no idea that she attended the regional seminars. How exciting! She gave several presentations and showed everyone how to make a cool Easter decoration.

There were also many other wonderful presenters all of whom were very inspiring. We got to see some amazing samples. I can't wait to CASE a few of them! And we were able to meet some new friends.

Throughout the day we were given the time and supplies to make several projects. Here are two of the make and takes that I completed. There were a total of 5 but I only had time to complete two of them. The other 3 will be getting finished this week.

TIP: To gather the ribbon lay down a piece of sticky tape and gather the ribbon, pressing it onto the stick strip as you go along. Then peel the red liner off of the sticky strip and attach it to the card.
