Valentine Pencil Treat Bags

Are you getting ready for Valentine's Day?  I am!  I have been crazy busy getting my Etsy shopped loaded up with lots of Valentine's goodies. Here is one of the items that I recently made for the shop.  They are Valentine pencil treat bags. Won't these be great for kids to give out at school?  

I saw the Valentine pencils in the Target $1 bin and immediately knew they were a perfect fit for Stampin' Up's! 1" x 8" cello bags.  The colors are also an excellent match to some of Stampin' Up!'s colors.  So guess what...I cleaned off the shelf. 

These were really easy to make.  I cut a piece of card stock 1 3/4 x 3 1/2" and scored it at 1 3/4".  I inserted a pencil in the bag, sealed it and then folded and stapled the scored card stock over the top of the bag.  I then punched out a coordinating scallop square and heart and attached them to cover the staple. See, super easy!
