Santa Place Cards - My Digital Studio

These cute Christmas place cards are made with my home printer and Stampin' Up! My Digital Studio. They are tent style and measure 3" x 2" when folded.

Choose custom project and create a new project sized 11 x 8.5" and use the guidlines to mark each place card. To make the same size I made, place a guideline at 3, 6 and 9 horizontally and 4 and 8 vertically. You can get six place cards out of a single sheet of Very Vanilla cardstock.

October Paper Pumpkin Alternate Project

Stampin' Up! October Paper Pumpkin
Wow, did you all see the October Paper Pumpkin...I know, I'm a little behind. The cute boxes are meant to be slices of pie...perfect to fill with treats. There are enough boxes in the kit to make an entire pie...but I think I would write guests names on the feathers and place them at each seat as cute place cards.

1st Annual NY Christmas Card Camp

I've been back from my trip to New York for a week but I'm still trying to dig myself out. Why is it that a 2 week trip takes 2 weeks to prepare for and 2 weeks to recover from?

Paper Pumpkin Noel Party Pack
While in NY, we had our 1st (and possibly annual) Christmas Card Camp featuring the Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin Noel Party Pack. These are some of the alternate samples we came up with.

Happy Campers
Camp was loads of fun! We had a potluck supper with some super yummy food. I forgot to take pictures of food but here are some pictures of the campers hard at work!

Festival of Trees and Washi Tape

Today's card is also from our World Card Making Day party...I will eventually get them all posted.

Washi Tape Background
The background was made with strips of Stampin' Up! Washi tape...Gingham Garden (pink and yellow)  Witches Brew (text) and All is Calm (green triangles). The Gingham Garden and Witches Brew Washi tapes were both on the Stampin' Up! clearance rack and the All is Calm Washi tape is in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.

Read Before You Tape
When I made this card, I liked the way the text on the Witches Brew Washi tape looked...I didn't think anyone would actually read it...they of haunted houses, witch hunts and death don't exactly go with the Christmas feel I was looking for.

Note: Witches Brew Washi tape is sold out on the clearance rack and no longer available.

Festival of Trees
The "A Merry Little Wish..." sentiment and the star on top of the tree were stamped with the photopolymer stamps included in the bundle. Instead of stamping the Christmas tree, I ran a piece of Old Olive cardstock through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder and then punched out the tree.

I like that you can use products in a variety of ways...not only the way they are bundled. The Christmas tree would also look good punched from a piece of designer paper.

Hello Fall!

Hello Fall!
Living in Florida, I haven't experienced a real Fall in 25 years. So, my youngest daughter and I traveled to Upstate NY to visit my oldest daughter and to have some Fall fun!  We have been to the apple orchard, two pumpkin patches and hiked a mountain to see some fall leaves. We return to Florida on Monday but according to the weatherman, we may see a little snow here on Saturday.

For All Things
Today's card is one we made on World Card Making Day..,Yes, I am still working on getting them posted. I'm a little usual.

It was created with the Stampin' Up! For All Things photopolymer stamp set. I have to say that this is one of my top two items from the holiday catalog...For All Things and Fall Fest Bundle...but it is Fall...maybe my favorites will shift to Christmas items soon...I can be fickle like that. :-)
