Here is my card for this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I know, it's not Monday. But I've been busy all week listing my retired stamp sets on Ebay and Etsy, and this was the first chance I've had to actually create something.
Out With the Old — In With the New
Since it's been a quite a while since I've purged retire inventory, I have tons to get rid of. It's feels great clear out seldom used items that I've become bored with. But the best part of selling my old stash it that I get to replace the old with new ones!
I used one of my new stamp sets to create today's card — Flower Patch. It's not new to the catalog, but it is new to me. I saw so many great projects using it on Pinterest, that I had to buy it.
Flower Patch = Love
I just adore Flower Patch! It has so many pretty flowers and flower parts to stack, and layer, and just create all kinds of awesomeness. It's photopolymer so you can see exactly where you're stamping everything. And you can get the Flower Fair Framelits Dies to go with it so it's perfect! Best yet, if you purchase the stamp set and dies together in the bundle, you save 15%.
I used candy dots as the flower centers. And, as I almost always do, I lifted the main embellishment off the page with Stampin' Dimensionals. I just think having different levels adds so much to a card.
